QCC Compass Padang Kurnia Group won again an award, after previously earned Second Place in the event Triputra Improvement Forum (TIF) VII, now QCC Compass successfully won the Bronze Achievement on the forum Indonesia Operational Excellence Conference and Awards 2012 (Opexcon 12) held by the International SSCX. The award ceremony was held at the JW Marriott Hotel, 27 November 2012.

The theme of the QCC Compass project that included in this competition is 'Stripping Ratio Reduction for Mining Optimization'. This theme is consistent with the management direction related to the Cost Effectiveness Program (CEP).
